This scene at the end of Kingdom of Ash made me cry so bad because you realised how far they had come. From a competition between assassins and thieves to fighting and winning a war to save the world. It also made me realise how far I had come from a 7 year old who honestly had no clue what was going on and knew no hardships to the person who I am today. In the time so much has changed. I have changed into a completely different person and when I read this scene I saw that so clearly. These books were with me throughout some of the hardest times of my life and I am the person I am today because of how these books have shaped me. I cried at this scene because that stage of my life was coming to an end 8 years after I first met that assassin in Endovior.
